Join us for our Books & Botanicals Watercolor Workshop, a relaxing, beginner-friendly evening where books and beautiful botanicals come together on the page. Local artist Sarah Ruth Frey will guide you step-by-step through watercolor basics and simple techniques as you create your own bookish botanical painting.

Whether you’ve never touched watercolor before or you’re simply looking for an excuse to slow down, get creative, and do something just for you, this workshop is meant to feel easy, welcoming, and FUN. No pressure to be an artist. No need to know what you’re doing. Just come ready to paint, sip, snack, and enjoy a cozy night with us. 💛

You’ll leave with a finished piece of artwork, some new watercolor skills, and hopefully that wonderfully calm feeling that comes from giving yourself a couple of hours to simply create.

• 4×6 cold-pressed watercolor paper for your final Books & Botanicals piece
• Practice sheets to play around with techniques and take home with you

Accessibility Note: The Moderne Loft is located upstairs and, unfortunately, is only accessible by stairs. There is no elevator access to the space at this time.

Our workshops are intentionally kept smaller so you have plenty of room to learn, ask questions, and create at your own pace. Spots are limited, so we recommend grabbing yours early!
