This month's Self Care Day is inspired by cozy reading nooks, well-loved books, and the simple joy of slowing down with a warm drink and a good story. Cozy Reader's Club is all about embracing the softer side of self care through comforting rituals, creativity, and community. 📚☁️

We're transforming the loft into the coziest little reader's retreat filled with intentional self care activities, bookish surprises, and meaningful moments of rest.

Everyone is welcome.

All ages. All genders. Men, women, and non-binary folks. If you're human, you belong here. Everyone deserves space to rest and feel cared for.

• DIY Room Spray Bar — blend a custom room spray to make your reading nook, bedroom, or favorite self care space feel extra cozy.

• DIY Foot Soak Bar — create a soothing foot soak to enjoy during your next cozy reading night at home.

• Community Book Swap — bring a gently loved book to exchange and discover your next favorite read.

• Mystery Local Author Reveal — a local Kansas City author will be joining us for the day, but you'll have to wait until the event to discover who they are!

Our Self Care Days have welcomed guests from all over the country, and we'd love for you to experience why so many people make them part of their self care routine. Whether you're an avid reader or simply looking for a cozy way to spend your Saturday, Cozy Reader's Club is waiting for you.

📌 Important Information

All ticket purchases are final sale. 

• Please note: The event space is located on the second floor and is not wheelchair accessible (no elevator available).

• By purchasing a ticket, you consent to Mental Health In A Box Co. taking photos and videos for marketing and social media. Children will never be photographed or filmed. If you would like to opt out, please email mariah@mentalhealthinaboxco.com after purchasing. You will receive a bracelet at check-in indicating no photos or video.

• If you would like to participate in the community book swap, please bring one gently loved book to exchange.
